To the left is a five-string, fretless, piezoelectric guitar. It's 100% pine, with the neck being old-growth heart pine. It uses zither pins for tuning and was an exercise in minimalism. I made a video on it, which can be found here.
To the right is a small two-string lute I made for my younger brother. The neck is mahoghany, fingerboard poplar, and the body is made of a mystery wood my Dad harvested from a pallet - perhaps hickory.
